Our Program
We develop resources and advice for parents, grandparents carers and educators for young learners to learn gardening basics. Our program also facilitates opportunities to come alongside our young adults in a fun way. This lets them know they are important and valued enough to spend time with them, making this beneficial for their development and wellbeing.

About Denis
Garden designer I Horticulturalist I Author I Educator
Denis has experience in horticulture extending over 38 years as a landscape designer and over 18 years as a skills trainer and educator in various teaching environments. This includes adult education, varied schools project-based learning programs, classroom teaching, homeschooling group and also project-based learning programs for people with mental disabilities.
This led to Denis working as a School Chaplain and knowing that the lessons learnt in the garden are about growing as people, learning responsibility, flexibility, perseverance, gaining problem-solving skills and learning to look at the world in a different way.
Kids CAN Garden was created out of the commitment Denis has to teaching others and a desire to encourage and educate the next generation of gardeners.
